INDIANAPOLIS, IN – June 4, 2002 - SportsFans USA, a strategic marketing, technology, and management agency providing “Championship Solutions Since 1993,” announced today the launch of FanPhotos™, a new marketing solution for the Indiana Fever designed to create new revenues, increase fan excitement, and build a database.
One hour before the start of Fever games, Fever representatives will be taking digital photos of fans in the Entry Pavilion of Conseco Fieldhouse. Fans can choose to stand beside life-size cutouts of Nikki McCray, Tamika Catchings or Freddy Fever.
After the photo is taken, the fan will be given a Fan Photo identification number, used to view the photo on the Fever’s official website, www.WNBA.com/fever. While registering for the FREE photo promotion, fans will be able to download and print their photo, email the photo to friends and family, and sign up to win ATA airfare. Fans will also be given the option of registering to receive FREE breaking news, updates and promotional information from the Indiana Fever.
American Trans Air has agreed to be the official sponsor of the promotion. According to Fever Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Krauskopf, “ATA Fever Fan Photos is an innovative promotion that captures compelling defining moments of Fever fans. Fans can share that excitement of being at the game with friends and family all over the world through the Internet.”
