Butler University Inks Multi-year Deal with SportsFans USA to Launch a New Fan Loyalty Program and Group Sales Online Software

Indianapolis, IN – July 29, 2003 -- SportsFans USA, a leader in database / fan loyalty software, strategy and fan development, announced today that Butler University has agreed to a 3-year deal with SportsFans USA’s premier fan loyalty program, FanRewards™. The software, professionally used by the Arena Football League’s Indiana Firebirds, has revolutionized customer loyalty/retention programs in the sports industry by eliminating the need to invest in high-priced technology. FanRewards™ provides real-time rewards promotions, event planning, fan interaction, and profitability information, as well as critically important trend analysis and forecasting to help support the decision-making processes in many areas of database marketing and customer retention strategies.

Butler plans to implement FanRewards™ within the next 6-8 weeks in order to boost ticket sales, attendance, sponsorship, and merchandise revenues. “SportsFans USA’s FanRewards™ is perfect for our university because it’s developed just for our students, alumni, and casual sports fans,” said J.J.
